15th February will mark the 25th anniversary of the end of withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan. 25 years later, history repeats itself: only this time the forces leaving Afghan land belong to U.S. and its European allies. NATO plans to withdraw its combat troops from Afghanistan by the end of 2014. Russia and India, both have traditionally played an important role in strengthening regional cooperation and security can't be less concerned about how the situation will develop in this country after 2014. The greatest concern is whether "Taliban" and "Al - Qaeda" will succeed in getting a strong hold and spread terrorist activities and instability in neighboring countries?  Whether complete withdrawal of NATO troops will threaten internal stabilization process in Afghanistan after 2014? What will be the impact on immediate neighbors of Afghanistan? What shall be the strategy of Russia and India to maintain stability in Afghanistan and the region?

Through the Video Conference experts from both the countries will discuss the situation and present their view points.
