Event Description : An evening of live mariachi music with New York based all women’s mariachi band “Flor De Toloache”.
Born in the haciendas of central Mexico, mariachi's sound has attracted millions across the Americas. This lively folk music of love, betrayal, death, and politics instills emotion through its extroverted singers, suave string and brass harmonies, and romping rhythms. Capping off their two-week, five-city, U.S. State Department-sponsored tour of India, Flor De Toloache brings their unique sound and appearance to celebrate 20 years of continental integration.
