Event Description : Yavanika Theatre group presents 'Godaan' Hindi Play based on the world famous novel of Munshi Prem Chand of the same title. 
Godaan is a story of a very poor farmer Hori of a small village in Uttar Pradesh. He works very hard but can hardly be able to feed his family which consists of his wife Dhania, Son Gobar and two young daughters. His only ambition is to buy a Cow and let his children have enough milk and butter and also feel proud of owing a Cow and serve it as Cow is worshipped in Hindu religion. But life  has many hardships and disappointments in his life. Will he ever find happiness in his life?
