Event Description : Shivani Wazir Pasrich Productions present glimpses of the 'I am the Tiger' art initiative, followed by the ‘I am the Tiger’ play to be inaugurated by the Hon’ble Minister for External Affairs, Mr. Salman Khurshid, Introduction to the ‘I am the Tiger Art’ Initiative  by Padmashree Anjolie Ela Menon. Dr Suresh Goel former DG ICCR and guests will pledge to be Champions of Conservation by signing, at the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), Azad Bhavan, IP Estate, New Delhi.

The “I am the Tiger” Art Initiative is a part of Shivani Wazir Pasrich Production’s conservation project. Through this school and college students are made to feel for conservation. They make their own signature design for I am the Tiger after seeing the performance. 
In this exhibition, we have works by masters like Padamshree Anjolie Ela Menon, The Singh Twins and Arpana Caur on the one hand and interpretations by students on the other. Students from schools like the Maharaja Jam Sahib School, Warsaw; St. James School, Edgware School, Sunrise Primary School and The Gems Hampshire School in London; Mayo College Girls School, Mayo College and Mayur School  in Ajmer and Sanskriti School and Lady Shri Ram College in Delhi.

“I am the Tiger” play is conceptualised, written and performed by Shivani Wazir Pasrich.
“I am the Tiger”is the story of Taqdeer (Destiny), raised in the forests of Sarhi. His sister Bachhi is forced to fight for food to feed her cubs and is branded a “man-eater”. After seeing his uncle Banka, cruelly killed by hunters Taqdeer is shattered. Love changes everything and Trisha and he make a family of their own. Though the good times are short lived and Taqdeer ends up in a zoo in Delhi. Here a life of barren captivity, inhumane conditions and loneliness force him to the very brink of existence and madness. 
The performance has toured nationally and internationally from the Women of the World festival in London, the Indian Embassy in Poland, the UN Convention on Biodiversity to the forests of Kanha and Ranthambore.
