Event Description : Anime Convention, the biggest and India’s only pop culture celebration, is all set to roll in its fourth year. Cinedarbaar’s flagship event, Anime Convention, for the first time will bring together, some of the best from Animation, Gaming, Comics, Graphic Novel and Mangas industries at one place. The convention this year boasts of its guests from Japan, Korea, USA, Switzerland and India to gather and provide as much knowledge, entertainment and experience to its visitors. Workshops, Master-classes, Sessions, Gaming Tournaments, Exhibitions, Merchandise, Food, Cosplay Competition and special activities for children in the Kids Corner – the convention will see all of these and much more.
With Korea as its country partner, the Convention in association with Korean Cultural Center, Delhi, will see Korean Animation Movies like S Robot Taekwon V by Kim Cheong-Gi, The King of Pigs by Yeon Sang-Ho etc, Karoke Lounge with KPOP music and dance, Korean Food, Korean Fashion Show (Hanbok), Session on Korean Design and other activities promoting the rich Korean Culture
Mr. Nao Hirasawa, the popular and upcoming producer from Production I.G will come to India for the first time to share his experiences and projects at the Production I.G. Production I. G is well-known for its Patlabor and the Ghost in the Shell series and also for helping develop the intros and artwork for games like Namco Tales Studio's famous title, Tales of Symphonia. Works of production I.G have won many awards and accolades in international film festivals and has also inspired directors like Quentin Tarantino for the animation sequence in his world hit, Kill Bill: Vol. 1. Hirasawa has to his credits, programs like, The Prince of Tennis (2006), the five-part movie series Broken Blade (2010), the TV Series Lagrange: The Flower of Rin-ne (2012) and Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet (2013).
