About  Hindi Academy : Hindi Academy was established in 1981 by the then government of Delhi to promote Hindi language, literature and the culture associated with it. Under Delhi government’s Department of Art, Culture and Languages, Hindi Academy has been working incessantly since its establishment to promote Hindi language and literature.
Every two years, the Chief Minister of Delhi, as the Chairperson of the Academy, appoints a 25 member organizing committee comprising of 25 reputed writers, literature doyens, journalists etc. The committee is in charge of the organization of all major programmes and activities of the Academy aimed at promoting Hindi literature and its culture.
