Event Description : XIII STD Theatre Group presents Basant Sabnis's 'Saiyan Bhaye Kotwal' Hindi Play. 
The story is about 'Suryapur' the kingdom of 'Raja Randhir'. Various incidences such as the appointment of the "Pradhan's illiterate and uncivilized brother-in-law as the 'Kotwal' and 'Hawaldar' being deprived of his promotion, lead to the postponement of 'Mainavati' and 'Hawaldar's' wedding. Assisted by his faithful 'Sipahi' the 'Hawaldar' ultimately is able to bring to the king's notice the wrong doings of the 'Pradhan' and 'Kotwal' and to marry 'Mainavati'.
