Guru Ashwani Nigam is the founder and Art Director of the Moscow Theatre of Indian Dance “Tarang”. The artist arrived in Moscow in 1996 as the Dance Guru at the Jawaharlal Nehru Cultural Centre, Embassy of the Republic of India. From 1999 to 2003, he was the Chief Choreographer of the Theatre “Jhankar” and “Saargam”. In Janaury 2003, he started “Tarang”.
