"Picture Perfect Delhi" a photo contest > Submission till 25th December 2012

Entry : This is a free contest open to all individuals with an image of Delhi and a camera to capture it. There is no limit on the number of entries per person.
Send in print copies of your entries in A4 size, along with their soft copies (JPEG format) in a CD and contact details, in sealed covers to : 
The Director, Information & Publicity, Block No. 9, Old Secretariat, Delhi - 110054 or submit the digital image online at : www.pictureperfectdelhi.com. Your entries should reach by 5:00 pm, December 25, 2012.

Theme : The city of Delhi and its uniqueness/spirit

Judging : Entries will be judged by a special panel of eminent photographers and sector experts. Winners will be chosen on or around January 2013, and notified by email Decisions of the judges are final and binding. The Organiser envisages a public exhibition of all entries sent to this contest 

Prizes : 
1st Prize : Rs. 100,000 (1 Entry)
2nd Prize : Rs. 75,000 (3 Entry)
3rd Prize : Rs. 50,000 (5 Entry)
4th Prize : Rs. 10,000 (25 Entry)
Special Prizes : 100 best photographers to get a complimentary copy of their work specially signed by Smt. Sheila Dikshit, Hon'ble Chief Minister of Delhi

Event Description : 'Picture Perfect Delhi' a photo contest. 
What is it about Delhi that fascinates you? Is it people, history, architecture or something else? 
You now have an opportunity to share it with the world. Send us your best shots that capture the unique traits of Delhi and you stand to win a grand prize. Organised under the auspices of Delhi Government, the contest will have a grand finale where all the entries get displayed in an exhibition and the best 100 entries find a place in specially designed coffee table book. You'll agree, this is not just an opportunity to showcase your talent but also your city in a new light.

Methodology : The pictures/images received on the various aspects/facets of Delhi depicting its beauty, landscape, people, markets, culture, moods, street life, day to day life, etc. will be assessed by a panel of renowned photographers/sector experts to shortlist the winners.
The contestants must give a written undertaking that the submitted photograph is an orignial work, shot in Delhi, created solely by the entrant, and authorize the orgnaiser to exhibit/utlize the photographs in ways it deems fit.
