The Siberian PatternsDance Ensemble was established in 1995 at the Youth House of Arts named after A. Efremov in Novosibirsk.
Irina Ovechkina, Honorary Worker of the general education of the Russian Federation and the teacher of the highest qualification category, is the Art Director and Choreographer of the Ensemble.
The Siberian Patterns Dance Ensemble is a winner of many prestigious national and international competitions. The Siberian Patterns is a member of the International Dance Committee of UNESCO, the winner of the Grand Prix of the International Competition "Vivat, Italy" and the Contest "Kaleidoscope of Rhythms", the First Prize Winner of the international contest "Spring Dance Extravaganza" and of the VII Eurasian Competition of Choreographers. The group is also a gold medal winner of the XX Youth Delphic Games of Russia, the holder of the First Delphic Cup and gold medalist of the VII Open Youth Delphic Games of the CIS States “Energy of the Young” (September 2012). In March 2012, the Ensemble was included in the "Golden Book of Culture of the Novosibirsk Region".
