Event Description : Information Department of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in India along with RIA Novosti cordially invites you to a video conference between New Delhi, Moscow & Beijing on the following subject "BRICS: Anti Crisis measures in the future".
The impact of the financial crisis of 2008 is still felt in Europe and Leading Russian economists of Higher School of Economics, Moscow have forecasted another global cyclical depression which world may have to face as early as between 2014 - 16. In mid-November, Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said that the BRICS countries have developed a number of measures for mutual support in case of crisis in a BRICS country. Last summit also saw the possibility of setting up of a BRICS Bank, though the idea has yet to materialize.
BRICS to some is still an enigma where as others see it having enough potential to become a Global Player. Leading experts from India, Russia & china will share their views on deepening cooperation within BRICS, new prospects for cooperation and joint projects, and vision for the future of this international structure.
