Event Details : Bhaav Arts of Expression (Formerly Tanzil Art & Film Association-TAFA) presents the following hindi plays :-
7:00 pm : HAI RAM, short theatre play
Synopsis: The Play is starts in Heaven when former Viceroy of India during British Raj, Chelmsford, Irwin, Victor Hope & Mountbatten comes to Mahatma Gandhi & ask him about corruption in India. They also compare India during British Raj & India in Current Scenario.
7:25 pm : AAJ KA KABULI, theatre play
Synopsis: The Play “Aaj Ka Kabuli” is inspired from the famous story “Kabuliwala” written by the great writer and poet Dr. Rabindranath Tagore. This play is based on the “Kidani & Nithari Case”. The play reflects various shades of human emotions.
Kabuli, a small vendor of dry fruits, who has come from Kabul to Hindustan after the death of his family due to Taliban attacks, tries to settle in his new life by selling wares on street of Delhi. He befriends a little girl named “Gudiya” the daughter of Rambabu. Kabuli looks his daughter Hina in Gudiya and Kabuli is a toy for Gudiya. Many times Kabuli becomes Cock or Elephant for her.
Rambabu likes Kabuli but his mother Shanti Devi doesn’t like him. One day Rambabu shocked after reading about “Nithari Case” in Noida, he told his mother about the same. Shanti Devi decide to close the doors for all strangers especially Kabuli. Shanti Devi also threw her servant Murari out of work, after knowing that Murari saves Gudiya’s life when “Kalpana” (wife of Rambabu) was pregnant.
Due to the mistrust Murari leads to become negative character of the Play. One day Murari come to Rambau’s home to get his full & final settlement but when he see that Gudiya is alone in home, he decide to kidnap her just like “Nithari & Kidani case”. Kabuli come to meet Gudiya for last time but when he knows that Murari wants to kidnap Gudiya he try to save her. Kabuli & Murari fight with each other and Murari was killed by Kabuli. The Police came and arrested Kabuli.
