Event Description : Annual Show of Kathak Kalakriti.
Intro about the Institute:
Kathak Kalakriti an institute of Kathak Dance has been founded with a belief that the performing arts opportunities should be available to all people, regardless of socio economic status. The institute is determined to promote interest in general public about Indian Classical dance forms and to encourage the young dancers through performance by providing them prestigious platforms.
Intro about Shweta Mishra:
The founder of this Institute Smt. Shweta Mishra is a Kathak Dancer. She has her formal degree from Pracheen Kala Kendra and been into teaching Kathak Dance from last 7 years. She had her initial training from Smt. Ruby Mishra (wife of Pt. Jai Kishan Maharaj) and later on from Pt. Jai Kishan Maharaj (son of legendary Padma Vibhushan Pt. Birju Maharaj). She has performed in various group as well as solo performances. She is actively involved in theatre work as well.
The performances will have Shiv Vandana, Tarana and Shuddh Nritya in it.
The audience will also have an eye tonic with the performance on Pakhawaj by Rishi Shankar Upadhyay and Kathak by Sakshi Kumar.
