Event Details : ACT Festival 2012: 16 days – 7 Venues – 45 performances
ACT aka Atelier's Campus Theatre Festival is annual feature of Atelier Theatre.
ACT Fest 2012 is the 6th episode of Campus Theatre Movement, now inviting campus theatre groups from Kolkata, Bangalore, Pune/Mumbai, Ahmadabad, Lucknow, Jaipur & Chandigarh.
Atelier’s Campus Festival is one of its kinds.
Celebrating the success of the last five years of Youth Theatre Festivals, we are geared up, again, to make it happen with a lot of constructive modifications. This year we have additional days for Regional Campus Theatre. The fiesta will kick off on October 2, 2012 with a professional performance – CONTROL Z - by Atelier Theatre Repertory Company and will be followed by theatre street performances in the University of Delhi. Stage performances by college teams will take place at LTG and Kamani Auditorium from November 5 - 11, 2012.
As happened in the past, this year as well we expect a lot of celebrities and film stars visiting this festival reclaiming their solidarity for the form we all believed in.

Intent
Integrating education and theatre, Atelier is eyeing for those who can actually make the difference.
The focus is to channelise the lost energies, which after practising theatre honestly, could not pursue the art because of various different reasons, from “earning a livelihood” to “skepticism of viability”. We have witnessed phenomenal imaginative minds in the last decade, subsequently, choosing call centre jobs or others, after doing well for themselves during college years.
This festival salutes the spirit of theatre, theatre workers and all those who have kept the baton on the move.
Atelier’s ACT Fest 2012 is the sixth in a row and we are expanding every year.
