Event Details : 'Vistaar' an exhibition of artworks by Govind Biswas. 
Artist's Comments : My works are based on conceptual abstract. I want to communicate only to the extent that the painting serves to indicate the viewer .The lines in my imagery usually suggest textural fields which, one might read as landscape like or sky-like. Human being have certain system through which they are able to communicate all forms used express aspect of reality or feeling which are not the exclusive property of anyone. Visual forms are also a kind of language which is common to all people everywhere. A map is a visual representation between element of space, object region and themes. There is no particular reason for the image I have chosen, but it does follow two guidelines that I deem important. It is not related to any particular region and it is historical which gives it some enter value. The experimentation which I pursued ,made me realize the significance of the negative space and its value in terms of physical perceptions .My intense interest in drawing allowed me to experiment on shapes, interactiveness of the forms and the space .It took me years to exhaust myself and come out of this series of idea.
1) The city –A city is a relatively large and permanent stretcher of the society, I am also living in the city that m painted the city.
2) That was memory in my childhood. When I was in Kolkata. Its personal experiences I was painted.
3) I talking about space, two different space and different time day n night m talking also dark and light.
