Celebrating Bachpan is a collection of handpicked photographs by Ananvay Pathak each of which has a clean, colourful style and a child in centre.   It is an honest effort to capture childhood the way it is, the world of miracle and magic. When all is new and fresh and astonishing. Trying to bring out the essence of who, the child really is, he has played with colours and a dash of uniqueness in each one of the images.
It’s also a token to the gala of a time the photographer had with the kids before clicking these pictures. For kids need some downtime to be made comfortable before the camera, it’s a silly laidback time that teaches you a lot.  Sometimes it is exalting, sometimes fun and sometimes just a pure walk down the memory lane...

About the artist : “It’s all about the heart telling the eye to tell the finger to press the shutter release, and that’s something you cannot teach anybody. It must be inside you from the beginning.” -  Trevor and Faye Yerbury.
Ananvay’s love for photography stems from his love for travel, he has travelled most of India as a backpacker and it was during these escapades with a camera as his companion that he discovered his belonging in the field of photography.
He soon left his career as a 3D artist and decided to pursue his passion. He applied his knowledge of lights ‘n’ shadows, camera angles, colours and composition, which he acquired from his 3d artist days, to his work of fashion photography and has made a mark in the industry. Today Ananvay Pathak Photography is a Brand to reckon in Delhi’s fashion and advertising space.
Yet his passion lies in capturing nature and nature’s best gift, children. This too comes to him naturally for he finds himself lucky to be able to photograph children for there is great mix of curiosity in the way kids are seeing the world and the world, them. This exhibition is all about his expression of connecting with them.The lights used are natural so are the images that speak eloquently about who the child really is.
