“The Soul”- fusion band which is part of the renowned Delhi Dancing academy is organizing a Sufi Night on Saturday, the 7th of April 2012, 9 pm onwards at KINK, Noida. The soul stirring songs are perfect to unwind and start your weekend. A very refreshing change from the regular hip-hop and commercial music being blared at most pubs; and provides patrons with an opportunity to relax, and unwind over some great food and drink; enjoying the amazing soulful and lyrical renditions that Sufi music has to offer. The rendering by ‘The Soul’ is assured to give you a magical musical experience
About the Band : The Soul can aptly be called a melting pot of the old & new! Their philosophy is to preserve the past & present it in a way that would strike the urban chords by the fusion of Indian Classical with westernized styles.
The Soul, belts out the best of Sufi music (classical, fusion) as well as interesting Sufi renditions from bollywood to create a soulful evening where music is the centre-piece. The Soul is the ‘Winner of “Battles of Band” 2010 and was selected in ‘India’s got Talent’.

3. Percussionist – Abhay

The Soul Band is a unique fusion band with expertise in fusing Indian Classical with westernized styles. The band comprises six competent and adept musicians including a guitarist, a flutist, a drummer, a percussionist, a synthesizer player and a vocalist. All the members have worked with many renowned singers and musicians. The band creates its own compositions based on classical ragas. The members have performed in various shows in India and abroad. The band is headed by Sagar Bhatia who is also the lead guitarist of the band.
Vandana Sharma and Sourabh Soni, Directors, are experts in various dance forms and are trained by several world renowned dance institutes and dance experts such as, THE DANCEWORX, SALSA INDIA, Kenzo (France), Fernando Aguilera, and Ganesh Hegde, Meher Malik and Ziley Mawai (National Gold Medalist Gymnast)
Milestones Achieved : Delhi Dancing has conducted three shows “Exuberance09”, “Exuberance10”, and “Exuberance11” in consecutive years 2009, 2010 and 2011. Various erudite and very \ renowned personalities of dance and art fraternity have prestigious association with Delhi Dancing. These personalities, like Meher Malik, Ziley Mawai, Ritika Chandra, have always been a part of Delhi Dancing shows, workshops and dancing endeavors. The personalities had performed and mesmerized the audiences in the shows.
Delhi Dancing has commendably performed in Auto Expo’09 and gathered a lot of praise. Delhi Dancing has organized Salsa Nights in a reputed Club of J K Tyres Group for six months and received appreciation from the club members.
The Soul band is a fusion-band with all the protégé musicians playing in it and lead singer being meticulously trained in classical singing. Winner of “Battles of Band” 2010 at Garden of Five Senses.
Selected in India’s got Talent the band has been hitting all the right chords since its recent inception.The band has also worked with “SAHARA Samay” for one and a half years.The band has performed for Reliance at Ambience Mall and for Tata Indicom at Gurgaon City Mall.
Performed at Chillum, EDM mall, Delhi was a real crowd puller. The mélange of sufi songs and party numbers was a flavor that the crowd relished. Their latest show was a Sufi Night at TRYST Musicafe, Saket where Audience were spellbound by their Soulful Music NJugalbandis.
