Event Details : Mitr Cultural Society presents two solo drama in hindi:
5:00 pm : Nadira Zaheer Babbar's "Dayashankar ki Diary".
Dayashankar is a typical small townie who came to Mumbai to become a Bollywood Star. His dreams are shattered when he has to settle for a clerical job in MLA's office. He hates his job, his boss and is infatuated with the MLA's daughter. He starts hallucinating and living in his own world to the point when he gets trapped in it.He is overwhelmed with a sense of rejection and humiliation that he experiences in his day to day life.  Laugh till you weep as you witness the amazing journey of a common man.
8:00 pm : Nadira Zaheer Babbar's "Sukkubai".
They sweep, they swab, they wash, they cook, they take care of our children and our pets, they look after our elderly. We see them every day. Yet they are invisible.Sukkubai is the story of a  maid who sings, dances, impersonatess  despite all the struggle of her life and  reflects the double standards of urban society.
