- Bhuvanesh Komakli who is the grandson of Pandit Kumar Gandharva, son of Mukul Shivaputra, Bhuvanesh Komkali is currently engaged in expanding the archives of Pandit Kumar Gandharva’s music using the latest in digital technology
- Veena Sahasrabuddhe who comes from a family of musicians has retained the fundamental values of Gwalior gharana while borrowing somewhat from Kirana and Jaipur gharanas. The vidwans laud the authenticity of her music while most listeners are moved by its directness and intensity

- Nishat Khan is the torchbearer of seven generations and the 400-year old tradition of India's most renowned musical family having performed alongside Eric Clapton, Carlos Santana, Jeff Beck, John McLaughlin and others
- Parween Sultana an outstanding vocalist, is known for the range and power of her voice and her handling of sapat tans, gamaks, tan palat and jamjama;

- Biswajit Roy Chowdhury enjoys the benefit of training under distinguished teachers in both the major schools of sarod playing. He was also accepted by the great vocalist Pandit Mallikarjun Mansur.
- Pandit Jasraj was born in a family that has given to Indian classical music four generations of outstanding musicians. He traverses effortlessly over all three and a half octaves, endowed with a rich, soulful and sonorous voice
