Event Details : Kitty Su presents smashing DJ duo from France, Kiss The Girl. They are known for their selection of classic and mixes of The Smiths, The Strokes, and many others.
Music journalists during the day, Violaine and Celine become djs at night. They have played everywhere in Paris : from bars (l'Alimentation Générale, l'Île Enchantée, le Panic Room, le Pin Up, le Shebeen), to clubs (Cha Cha, Le Tigre, La Machine, Divan Du Monde, Nouveau Casino, la Flèche d'or, le Paris Paris, Le Scopitone, Chez Régine, le Tokyo Art Club, la Péniche Concorde, le Showcase…) and original venues like Arts et Métiers Museum, the infamous Galeries Lafayette, Bercy Palais Omnisport, Smart Urban Stage and last but not least a few festivals : Rock En Seine, Porto Vecchio in Corsica,Astropolis in Britain, Electron in Switzerland (and soon at the C Beach Club in Mauritius.) Since January 2010, the duo has its own residency every month at the luxurious Ritz Bar.
Before that, Celine and Violaine were resident djs at le Cha Cha Club, le Scopitone and la Flèche d’Or. They also played for a few brands and special events : Blackberry, Desigual, Google, Reebok, Suchard, Nike, Nissan, Moscou Fashion Week, BNP Paribas, Heineken, Colette, Smart, MTV, Casio, Wrangler, Who's Next, Premiere Heure,TBWA, Kipling, Le Coq Sportif…
Following four years in a dj booth, they shared the stage with :
2 Many Dj's, Carl Craig, Pilooski, Friendly Fires, Antipop Consortium, Man & Man, Cosmo Vitelli, Loo & Placido, Radiomentale, Tsugi Crew, Thieves Like Us, Housse de Racket, Make The Girl Dance, Appaloosa, The Teenagers, Sourya, Play Paul, Who Made Who, Rafale, Manon Manoeuvre, Nicolas Ullmann and many more !
Kiss the Girl has only one rule: play music without blinkers for clubbers of all persuasions, ages and styles, from indie rockers to techno kids .
