Event Details : "Earthly Heaven" 56th Solo Exhibition by Surjit Akre.
In the Exhibition, consisting of 61 recent paintings, oil on canvas on different themes, the artist interprets her feelings of love to her motherland and countrymen.

Surjit Akre, a Delhi-based artist with sound academic training, has the honour to be the first Indian artist who studied painting at the prestigious Ilya Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture & Architecture, St. Petersburg. Since 1985, she showed her works in group shows and solo shows at various galleries of Delhi and outside at national and International levels.
