Event Details : CanSupport and Hindustan Times present 'Key Tumi' starring Sharmila Tagore and Soumitra Chatterjee, written and directed by Amit Ranjan Biswas.

“Key Tumi” tells the story of Rabindranath Tagore and his sister in law and muse Kadambari Devi.  It is based on correspondence between the two and includes his poetry as well as music in Rabindra sangeet sung by Lopamudra Mitra and Paramita Bandyopadhyay.
When, aged nine, Kadambari was married to much older Jyotirindranath she made friends with his brother, seven year old Rabindranath.   As they grew into adolescence Kadambari became Rabindranath’s fiercest critic, his inspiration and his muse.  The announcement of his marriage was not unexpected but it proved devastating for Kadambari. Not long after his wedding she took her life. Rabindranath never got over his loss.
