Now in his seventies, Freddy lives alone and does not want to meet another woman, while his 50 year-old daughter is at ease controlling the life of her beloved father. Then enters Dolly, who tells everyone about her career as an actress in the 50's soap 'Another Day'. Since then her life has centered around her son, who has never married because he has never found awoman good enough for his mother. When love starts to flow between the son and daughter and they arrange a blind date for their parents, they all rediscover love from a slightly older, slightly more hilarious perspective. The Pill - Lbuprofen is a comedy we can all relate to!
Madhu Sagar, a well known name in the theater and film circuit, has been directing and acting for the past 30 years and has produced, directed, and acted in over 100 plays. She is also a recipient of the National Award for Best Actress.
The leading theater production house, Stage Lights, was started in 1987 and has mounted over 100 productions in Delhi. It has produced mega muicals like 'Singing in the Rain,' 'The Sound of Music', and 'Mary Poppins' and stage comedies like 'Whose Wife Is It Anyway,' and 'Stop or my Mom will Shoot.'
