Event Details : ICCR presents Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore's 150th Birth Anniversary 'Tagore the Universal Message' an exhibition of rare photographs.
These photographs were shot between 1932 and 1940 by renowned photographers Alain Danielou and Raymond Burnier, these photographs were believed lost till rediscovered by Dr. Samuel Berthet, curator of the exhibition, in August 2010 in Italy.
Restored and digitalized, these photograhs capture the beauty of Shantiniketan, and the quest for harmony which animated Tagore.
