“In the words of Seng-ts’an, ‘This is where words fail, for it is not of the past, future and present’. ‘Timeless’ is not an answer, not a statement, not an opinion nor a single perspective. It is a question... in fact many questions. It is an attempt to see... to feel... to experience… to hear...to touch this intangible, wonder filled thing called TIMEless.....maybe one sees it as time related to space, maybe one hears it as an eternal flow, maybe one perceives it as totally still….maybe?

In her artistic work, Aditi Mangaldas succeeds in using the classical technique of Kathak to develop a contemporary expression of this dance, and her success proves that the performance is not only timeless, but also spaceless, as a universally perceptible form of artistic eternity that enriches our horizon with new visual experiences.
About Aditi Mangaldas : Aditi Mangaldas is the principal dancer and choreographer of the Aditi Mangaldas Dance Company – The Drishtikon Dance Foundation. She is a leading figure in both, the classical Indian dance form of Kathak and the contemporary idiom. With extensive training under the leading exponents of Kathak, Shrimati Kumudini Lakhia and Pandit Birju Maharaj, Aditi is today recognised for her artistry, technique, eloquence and characteristic energy that mark every performance. She has broken new ground by using her knowledge and experience of kathak as a springboard to evolve a contemporary dance vocabulary, infused with the spirit of the classical.
Her solo performances and group ensembles, both classical and contemporary, have received critical acclaim at leading festivals all over the world.
