About FTS : The Films and Theatre Society is registered under Societies Registration Act, 1860 on All India Basis. The main object of the society is production and promotion of Theatrical Plays and Short (and other) Films in India. Other objectives of the society inter-alia include furtherance of literature, creative arts related to theatre and films and other art forms, and making available to its members resources connected thereto. All the members of FTS are from diversified professions and educational backgrounds but what common to all of them is a passion for theatre and creative appetite. Another peculiar feature about the society is that in spite of being a weekend theatre group it has been able to come up with production which match up to the standards of any other professional group working in this field. FTS has been active in theatre circuits for almost one and a half year now and since its inception have come up with quality theatre productions and innovative ideas. Its latest endeavour Rang-a festival of Indian arts is a step ahead in its effort for promotion and preservation of Indian arts.
