Event Details : "The Hooting Divination" Solo Painting Exhibition by Anushree Jain.
This Solo Painting Exhibition is the art collection and creation by Artist Anushree Jain under the title ‘THE HOOTING DIVINATION’ questions the stereotypes we humans are either born with or are fed with, all our life. I firmly believe: love every creation of the almighty for the very reason that it was HE who created it. For me, OWLS are nothing less than a magical creature and symbols of the never explored mystique charm, a sign of wealthand a symbol of erudition and wisdom. Endeavouring to present a fresh perspective or rather an unusual perspective, the tool that enables me to let out the old and usher in the new, without much thinking happens to be WINDOWS. For each one of us windows function as an avenue to look beyond the closed world we all live in. I have employed acrylic on canvas and the still art form depicted in my paintings are replete with mundane domestic objects like utensils but are coated with vibrancy of an array of bright colours which infuse life into the monotony of everyday life.
