Expo Riva Schuh, Italy in partnership with IEPL (Italian Exposition Private Limited) brings “EXPO RIVA SCHUH FAIR” to India for the first time. The fair will be held from July 28-30, 2011 at Hall Number 14, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The fair will purely be a B2B platform that sets the tone for global trends in footwear and leather design. “Expo Riva Schuh India” will present the finished products of various commercial sectors, from footwear to leather accessories - footwear, bags, belts, purses and wallets, gloves and other accessories in leather. 

The fair follows an innovative format that will showcase products by over 200 Indian and International exhibitors from Italy, Spain, France, UK, China, Thailand and couple of other countries. Italy will be represented by as many as 40 top brands like Giovanni Fabiani, Loriblu, Manas, Massimo Santini, Fabi and Fratesi. IMAC Group will also be present at the fair, focusing on technological development and innovative materials. China will be at the fair with 40 companies from some of the leading Chinese production centers such as The Xiamen L&C International Exhibition, the Guangdong Economic Association and the Fujian Foreign Economic Service Trade which are world leaders in the organisation of fairs and international exhibitions in the footwear sector. The Thai Footwear Industry Association will also be represented by a significant number of exhibitors from Thailand, the expression of a production system which is acquiring a crucial role in the global panorama of the footwear industry.

Roberto Pellegrini, President of Riva del Garda Fierecongressi says, “With more than one billion inhabitants, 40 million of whom have a high income and a middle class of 300 million, the Indian footwear market is estimated at 4 billion dollars with an annual growth of 18%. Over the next four years a real boom in growth is expected.
