Event Details : The Sahitya Kala Parishad, the cultural institution under the Dept of ACL, Govt of NCT of Delhi is organizing a four-day cultural event titled “Gurudev” to pay their tributes to one of its great son and legendary personality Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore on his 150th birth anniversary. A series of events are being organized and will be held all over the country in a year-long celebration through different mediums of performing arts, literary meets etc. Most of the events will showcase adaptations of the works of this great visionary, litterateur, poet, philosopher, artist, educationist and social worker.
In its efforts to reach out and encourage people’s participation at the grassroots in the celebrations, the Parishad will be presenting a varied and interesting mix of cultural activities, a photo exhibition and an artist camp where renowned artists from different fields of performing arts will be showcasing their items on the theme- Gurudev.
