Event Details : 'Soloz' exhibition of paintings by Sanjay Mehta and Sajal K. Mitra.

Its a retrospactive exhibition of last 20 years of both the artists. You will find acrylic, oil & water colour painting, Charcol Drawings & latest digital paintings in this show on most recent subjects like world cup & osama.
Sanjay uses free flowing rhythmic forms in his works which symbolizes the soul of beings whether it is human or animal. Playing with the texture and myriad forms and using vibrant colours, is his way of expressing himself on the canvas. He has had exhibitions at AIFACS, Sahitya Kala Parishad, Lalit Kala Academy, Delhi and in other galleries. His works are in collection of SBI,YHAI, AIFACS, Camlin, Sahitya Kala Parishad and so on. His efforts have won appreciations from art critics and art lovers alike.
Sajal K. Mitra’s watercolours are the results of his endeavour to create a magical atmosphere and mood in his works. He constantly tries to achieve the ability to reduce his subjects to a visual language. He has had solo / group shows at AIFACS, Lalit Kala Academy, Delhi, LTG Art Gallery and in various other Galleries. His works are in collection of World Bank, Washington, Ashoka Hotel, Delhi, AIFACS, NTPC, Shri Mulk Raj Anand, Poet & Writer, to name a few. His water colours have been critically acclaimed by the art critics.
