The Story of Ram and Sita is the first ever Indian rock musical based on traditional Indian Mythology.
It is a combination of conventional Indian story of the Ramayana with modern musical idioms in theatre form.
The musical play “The Story of Ram and Sita” is adapted from traditional theatre performed in the Kumaon hills of Uttarakhand for the last 50-60 years.
It is thus a departure from the spate of rock musicals (Jesus Christ Superstar, Tommy, Fiddler on the Roof,
