Event Details : Landmark and Scholastic launches 'The Curse of Broken Step' a horror fiction book exploring the mysteries of Purana Qila by Bubbles Sabharwal, Director, Kidsworld & Theatreworld and Anjali Raghbeer, an MBA degree holder from London Business School and a passionate writer.
‘The Curse of the Broken Step’ is a novel in which four regular kids stumble upon a mystery on a school visit to Purana Qila. The foursome who call themselves the Google Gang discover that an American collector, Donald, is after a set of miniature paintings that have been stolen. What's more, the painting is cursed! Whoever keeps the painting will meet his death the same way as Humayun did, by slipping from the steps in the library. What is more disturbing is that Dhruv’s father may be involved in the conspiracy that involves the stealing of India’s treasures out of the country. Dhruv wants to prove his father’s innocence but at the same time he’ scared to uncover the truth. It may be ugly. The Google Gang along with their hilarious teacher, Tambram, manage to unravel the mystery that takes them all the way from the Purana Qila to Charminar to Chow Mohalla Palace in Hyderabad.
