The Actor Factor Theatre Company

Since its inception ‘The Actor Factor Theatre Company’ is committed to create and promote meaningful literature through drama and at the same time intend to take it to people likely to gain from the experience. The group essentially focuses on plays, with strong social impact, that speak of the times they belong to; the idea being, simply to raise key questions that intellectually stimulate today’s audiences.

Started by a group of nine professionals committed to the cause of thought-provoking, yet enjoyable form of theatre, the group has staged seven full-length plays until now, Aakaar (Hindi), The Indian Wants The Bronx (English), The Red Corridor (Hindi) and Three (English), The Leela Tapes (English), Kafan (Hindi) & The Butcher of Quietly (English).

Organizing specialized skill training workshops (First Act – for beginners & Chameleon Actor – for working actors) for people pursuing higher art in the field of theatre is yet another key Actor Factor endeavour. On a yearly basis, the group invites theatre practitioners, as well as aspirants, to train under an acclaimed guest Professor of Theatre.
