Event Details : The Embassy of Mexico and the Indian Council for Cultural Relations present Indo – Mexican piano - dance performance with Aditi Mangaldas, Indian dancer and choreographer, Fernando García Torres, Mexican pianist and James Demster, Mexican pianist.
The program will include Indian dance compositions, both, classical and contemporary, along with Mexican piano compositions from the nationalistic romanticism and expressionism, as well as some pieces by Fréderic Chopin, Poland master of the most pure romantic period, and Georges Gershwing, a classic of jazz piano and Broadway’s Music Hall.
This concert celebrates 60 years of diplomatic relations between India and Mexico, 200 years of Mexico’s independence and 100 years of the Mexican revolution, the first social revolution of the XX century.
