Event Details : Natya Vriksha presents the Bharatanatyam Arangetram  of Megha Jaju, disciple of Guru Geeta Chandran.
Megha Jaju has been learning Bharatanatyam under the tutelage of Guru Geeta Chandran since 2004.
Dance is a passion for Megha. She has been an avid choreographer, studying body and movement in other disciplines like Chhau and contemporary dance. In the summer of 2006, she was awarded a scholarship to attend a two-month summer schhol in modern dance at the American Dance Festival, University of Duke, North Carolina, US.
Megha graduated with Honours in Psychology from Lady Shri Ram College. She was elected Secretary Dance Society at LSR, and went on to receive the college award for Excellence in Choreography. Megha also received the Best Dancer at Delhi State Choreography Competition in 2005.                
She pursued her Masters (M.Sc.) in Work and Organizational Psychology from the University of Nottingham, UK. She is currently a Consultant at MA Foi Consulting Solutions.
Megha deeply values the discipline, aesthetics and creative inspiration she receives from her Guru Geeta Chandran at Natya Vriksha.
