TVS launches India's first Clutchless bike 'Jive' - 25th November 2009

TVS Jive is India's first clutchless bike with rotary gear technology which offers you a hands free gear shift riding experience. It makes smooth riding possible even if you drive it at low speed in high gears and you can also reach neutral straight from the high gear. It can be started in any gear and it has electric start too. It has 110cc engine and 8.4bhp of maximum power at 7500rpm and a maximum torque of 8.3Nm. It also comes with T-Matic technology. It has a wheelbase of 1260mm and drum brake at the front and the rear. There is enough space under the seat to keep bottle, umbrella and document which is also a first in this bike. The bike has 15 litres of fuel tank and 2 litres for fuel reserve. It will be available in three colours which are blue, black and red.
