Event Details : Natya Vriksha presents Bharatanatyam Arangetram by Trisha De Niyogi, disciple of Geeta Chandran.
Trisha has been pursuing Bharatanatyam for the past seven years under the tutelage of Guru Geeta Chandran, Founder-President, Natya Vriksha, and is greatly inspired by the ability of classical dance to calm her senses and lead her to achieve better heights in both academics and the arts.
Currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics at the Jesus and Mary College in Delhi University, Trisha is an alumnus of St. Anthony’s High School, Hauz Khas, New Delhi.  She is a Olympiad certificate holder in both Mathematics and Science.
Trisha has been an energetic student, participating in a wide range of cultural activities in both school and college. She is a good public speaker, having participated in several debates and discussions in school and college.
Trisha was also student of piano, and holds a Grade 6 certificate from the Trinity College of Music, London. Among her other interests are painting and rangoli.
Trisha feels immense gratitude that in Geeta-ji, she has found a Guru who inspires her in dance…and in life!
