Event Details : Screening of the film 'Il deserto dei Tartari (The desert of the Tartars)'.
Based on the famous novel, The Tartar Steppe by Dino Buzzati, the film is about a Military Officer sent to a fort somewhere in the middle of a godforsaken desert where the endless similarity of the days nearly drive him crazy until he comes to hope for a war or attack of some kind to change things. He is hoping to discover anything that could distract him from feeling the emptiness inside, but he cannot find it.
