FEST : The YP Foundation presents The Blending Spectrum Festival at Amphitheatre, IHC - 1st March 09

Event Details : In light and acknowledgment of the efforts made by young people and our partners in this initiative for the past 3 years, The YP Foundation is hosting The Blending Spectrum Festival. The purpose of the event is to celebrate and recognize the work done in the project over the past few years, as well as looking at creating a platform for young people in the city to engage with the issues and opportunities of working with street children.
The Festival is featuring:
1. A live concert by the EAST INDIA COMPANY - One of India's most upcoming and popular Hindi music bands
2. An interactive Art and Photography exhibition - Exhibitions featuring the project and our work, and showcasing the work of the children we work with at 2 locations in Delhi (Nizammudin Basti and The Sarai Hostel)
3. Screening of 2 Films - Films made by young people at The YP Foundation talking about their experiences of working in the project.
4. An original, unique collaborative musical performance by a group involving the children from The Sarai Hostel, and Professional Musicians in the city.
