• Synopsis : The film revolves around an aging shipyard worker and immigrant Slimane Beiji ( Habib Boufares ) who divorced his first wife, Souad and lives in the run-down Hotel de l'Orient owned by his new lover Latifa and her daughter Rym ( Hafsia Harzi ) in the south of France. He eats couscous with fish every Sunday with his ex-wife and family. His ambition is to establish a successful restaurant which meets sceptical opposition from the French bureaucracy but He does his best to maintain his decency throughout the different phases of his life and Rym who is uninhibited helps him in realizing his dream.
