• Event Details : Screening of the film 'Antonio Guerriero di Dio ( Antonio Warrior of God )'
• Dramatisation of the life of Saint Anthony of Padua. In 1263, as pilgrims file pass the tomb of the saint where his remains were transferred to lie in the Basilica which now bears his name, a weeping friar begins to tell his story from the time that in 1221, a Greek ship was shipwrecked off the coast of Sicily. Amongst the survivors is Fibonacci, a mathematician from Pisa who saves the life of Antonio, a Portuguese friar from Lisbon. The storyteller is Folco, an ex-criminal who became a follower of Antonio who dedicated his life to defending the poor against oppression and injustice.
