  • Event Details : Sanatan Sangeet Sanskriti, under the aegis of Rai Foundation, is holding its Annual Award function to honour the eminent personalities from the field of art and culture. Every year, Sanatan Sangeet Sanskriti gives the awards to the distinguished artists for their contributions in the field of dance and music.

  • Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma Ji : Sanatan Sangeet Sanskriti will honour Santoor maestro Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma with Sanatan Sangeet Samman 2007.
  • Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma Ji is one of the best contemporary Hindustani classical musicians. He has been credited with single-handedly making the Santoor a popular classical instrument, to the extent that the Santoor and Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma are synonymous.
  • Dr. Anita Manu Singhvi : Ghazal singer Dr. Anita Manu Singhvi with Sanatan Sangeet Puraskar 2007 for her contribution in the field of Ghazal renditions.
  • Trained under the guidance of Pandit Kshirsagar Ji of Gwalior Gharana and musical maestros Mujahid Khan and Shanti Heera Nandi, Dr. Anita Manu Singhvi is carrying forward with the legacy of noted ghazal singer Begum Akhtar.
  • Ms. Reela Hota : Odissi dancer Ms. Reela Hota with Sanatan Nritya Puraskar 2007 for her contribution to Indian Classical Dance, Odissi.
  • For Ms. Reela Hota, who has been dancing since the tender age of eight, dance is a spiritual practice and a means towards inner purification. A dedicated Odissi dancer, she has a remarkable stage presence. Her flawless movements have a sensuous grace.
  • Performances : The artists will also mesmerize art lovers with their magical performances at the award function.
