• Event Info : The Ayyappa Temple in R.K. Puram ( Sector 2 ) is one of the important centres for cultural convergence for the nearly one million Malayalees who have made Delhi their home. And each year, the Mandala Puja, dedicated to the Ayyappa deity (whose main shrine is at Sabari Hills), is observed with unusual gusto with elaborate pujas and cultural festivities.
• This year one of the highlights of the temple’s cultural calendar is a Bharatanatyam performance by the renowned classical dancer Geeta Chandran.
• Geeta will present a chaste Bharatanatyam recital weaving several numbers from her vast repertoire acquired from the finest Gurus under whom she has trained.
