KARAOKE COMPETITION : KALARPAN presents "Singing & Dancing Competition" A Tribute to Madan Mohan at LTG - 30th September, 2007

Event Info : KALARPAN is an organisation which has emerged last year through SCHOOL OF PERFORMING ARTS, Director of both is Sachin Gaind.
This Karoke Competition is based on Madan Mohan's Creation & the program is a tribute to him.
Last year we did this competetion in BIPIN CHANDRA PAL AUDITORIUM, C.R. Park, N.D.-19 in which around 30 participants were being rewarded with Momentoes and Certificates. 3 Winners from Dance and 3 from Singing got Cash Prizes too.
This year we have decided to do it on a big scale so we are celebrating 70th Birth Anniversary of Pt. Surinder Singh (Padmshree).
Pandit Surinder Singh (Padmshree) is one brother from the Singh Bandhu Duo and we are celebrating his 70th Birth Anniversary through this show in which we are also giving a tribute to legendary music director Late Madan Mohan and there will be a KARAOKE SINGING COMPETETION based on his songs only along with a Dance competetion.
There will not be any category (agewise) for both the competetions and Pt. Surinder Singh ji will be the judge for the Vocal competetion and Harsh Agarwal and Aarti Sharma will be the judge for the Dance competetion.
For these competetions, participants have gone through 2 rounds, 1st round cum audition on 12th August and second round cum allotment on 16th September, 2007
In this programme, students of my school, SCHOOL OF PERFORMING ARTS will also give presentations of Group/Solo dance, Singing and Keyboard (Casio) for which they have been practicing since 2 months.

Cheif Guest will be Sh. Shekhar Vaishnavi, Secy. Sahitya Kala Acadamy
Guest of Honour will be Sh. Shammi Narang, T.V. News reader and anchor.
Special Guest will be Smt. Mala Mahajan, H.O.D. (Activities), K.R. Mangalam World School, G.K.-II branch, New Delhi - 48
