SPORTS - ONGC Nehru Cup 2007 ( Football ) at Ambedkar Stadium - 17th to 29th August, 2007

• Event Info : ONGC Nehru Cup 2007 is back after 10 years & last winner was Italian Football team in 1997.
  
• The five teams participating in Nehru Cup International Football Tournament are India, Cambodia, Bangladesh, Syria and Kyrgyzstan.
• Opening match will be played between India & Cambodia. The total prize money is $1,00,000. The winning team will get a prize of $40,000, the runners-up receive $20,000 while the third place team will get $10,000. The winning team per match will get $2,500. Pratibha Patil, Honorable president of India will be the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony of the tournament.'
