About Sangeeta Gaur : Dr.Sangeeta Gaur, did her M.phil in Brij Sangeet and Doctorate
on "Hindustani Classical Music and Changing Aesthetic Values”. She has been conducting several music concerts throughout India. She is trained Classical Vocalist, spl. In Haveli Sangeet, Thumri, Chaiti, Hori and sufiana-kalam.she also worked with J.Krishnamurti
foundation, Sahyadri School, Pune.Sangeeta is a recipient of Ministry of HRD‘s Fellowship for research in Haveli Sangeet.She is associated with Asmita Theatre group as music Director .
She composed music for several acclaimed plays, some of them traveled many cities of US, Russia,USA, france, Australia, Edinburgh Fringe festival and also invited to performed in Bharat Rang Mahotsava (NSD),Sangeet Natak Academy National Festival, Old World Mahindra Theatre Festival and Nehru Center Festival.
Her major plays are Girish Karnad's Tughlaq, Dharmvir Bharti's Andha Yug, Mahesh Dattani's Final Solutions and Tara, Swadesh Deepak's Court-Martial, G.P.Despande' s Antim Divas, Vijay Tendulkar's Ghasiram Kotwal, Bhishma Sahani's Madhavi (solo performance by Rashi Bunny), Pinki virani's Bitter Chocolate and Untitled Solo (both solo by Lushin Dubey), Uday Prakash’s Warren Hastings Ka Saand and her latest contribution is the music for Gandhari (solo by Aishvaryaa Nidhi) performed at NIDA theatre, Sydney.
