• Event Info : Nava – Pallava presents a Kuchipudi Dance Performance “Janmabhoomi” to celebrate 60 years of Indian Independence by Shri Prabir Datta, senior most disciple of Padma Bhushan Smt. Swapnasundari along with his senior students.
• About Prabir Datta : Prabir Datta’s interest in dance and music began at an early age. His innate talent and flair for these arts found full expression under the guidance of several eminent Gurus.
• This background led him to work with various establishments such as Uday Shankar School of Dance (Kolkata), Little Ballet Troupe (Gwalior),Shri Ram Bhartiya Kala Kendra (Delhi) thus gaining exposure and the experience of working with leading Choreographers of India. Thus he developed a penchant for exploring choreographic possibilities in traditional dance-idioms.
