• Education: B.F.A. Fine Art & Craft Calcutta (Kolkata) Gov. College (1976-1981)
• Commissioned by Department of Tourism Gov. of Sikkim for portraits of different ethnic groups in 1985.
• Exhibited them in Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI) conference Ashok Hotel, New Delhi in 1986
• Tourist Festival Gangtok, Sikkim, 1986-1990 and highly acclaimed by former president of India Dr. R Venkataraman
• Published reviews in numerous newspapers and magazines nationally and internationally.
