National Zoological Park (NZP)

Time :
1st April to 15th October 9:00am to 4:30pm
16th October to 31st March 9:30am to 4:00pm
Note : 
Once entered you can stay inside Zoo till 6pm-6:30pm. 
Minimum Time Required to see Zoo is 2 hours. 
Best time to Visit is between October to March when the weather is pleasant in Delhi. 

Entry : 
Indians : Rs. 40 for adults and Rs. 20 for children and senior citizens. Entry for children with under 3 feets height is free
Foreigners : Rs. 200 for adults and Rs. 100 for children above 5 years old. Entry for children upto 5 years old is free.
Note : 
Closed on Fridays and National Holidays. 
Eatables from outside not allowed inside except Milk for Infants.

About National Zoological Park : It is spread over 240 acres of land. There are more than thousand creatures and around 200 species at this zoo. The animals here are from different parts of the world. During the migratory season, you will see birds from faraway lands making their abode here. Descriptions are written on tree which is enlightening for all tree lovers & researchers.
