  • Overview : To mark the 50th anniversary of the Cultural Agreement between India and Japan, the Centre in collaboration with the Embassy of Japan in India will be organizing and presenting a year-long series of lectures on various aspects of India-Japan Relations from ancient times to the present. Organised as part of Japan Year in India 2007, these lectures will cover different aspects in the interaction and exchange of knowledge between the two nations over the centuries. The lectures will be held once a month and will feature eminent Indian and Japanese scholars. Some of the lectures will be accompanied with exhibitions and lecture demonstrations.
